Some Last Minute Resources for Summer Speech and Language Practice

Tomorrow is the last day of school for the cities in my area so if you are looking for a few more ideas for summer practice, below are a few more sites to send to parents.

ReadWriteThink has a large selection of Parent and Afterschool Resources to make the most of their children’s time away from school. Parents will find helpful tips, articles, and podcasts.  There are many on-line activities and fun things to do during routine home activities for grades K to 12. Speech and language can easily be incorporated into these activities.

If you are still making packets, you will find speech and language worksheets at Heather’s Speech Therapy

From Amanda Morn at About.com, find reading lists and math and science activities.

In Monday’s Free Technology for Teachers, Richard Byrne writes about 50+ SummerLearning Activities For Kids.

And, if you haven't seen my site, check out my Six Weeks of Summer, Interactive Speech and Language Practice Activities.
